Our client is an Australian wholesaler who is looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team on a part-time basis, The role is responsible for the effective and efficient management of the payroll function including month payroll reconciliations. This is a permanent part-time opportunity 3 days per week. The office located close to public transport in Sydney CBD>
Job Details
Reporting to the CFO and working autonomously in the payroll space, you will be responsible for:
- End to end fortnighly payroll for 300 employees
- Coordinate all onboarding centrally, including preparation of Letters of Offer, New Starter Paperwork and all onboarding emails to new employees
- Review branch timesheets and ensure data entry accuracy in Time & Attendance program
- Payment of ad-hoc back pays and leave entitlement cash-ins
- Payment of bi-annual bonuses and annual commissions
Successful Applicant
The successful applicant will have:
- 5 years’ experience in a stand alone Payroll position
- Experience in end-to-end payroll processing role for >250 employees
- Experience with Elmo Payroll Software is a benefit but not required
- Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to consider diverging priorities
- Great communication and customer skills
