Due to recent projects, our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their team based in Southbank on a temporary basis.
The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working within a team, you will be responsible for:
- Processing payroll
- Building reports/report writing
- Relevant EBA and award interpretation
- Time and attendance configuration
- Provide high-quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiries
- Reconciliations
- Taking charge of payroll queries
- Understanding of Chris21/iChris/HR21
The successful applicant will have
- Prior experience within a similar Payroll Officer position
- Experience with iChris/Chris21 is essential for this position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to work in a team-based environment
- Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
- Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
