In a vital role within the organisation, our client is looking for an experienced Payroll professional to autonomously take ownership of the payroll function. This role will be an exciting opportunity for those looking for their next challenge!
Job Duties
Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, the role will involve taking taking ownership of payroll, with key tasks involving:
- End to end payroll processing for 200+ employees
- Ensuring compliance with payroll related legislation
- Interpreting different EBA's and awards
- Onboard new starters and oversee the induction paperwork
- Upholding high customer service standards and protocols across the business, efficiently managing employees queries
- Develop and strive for process improvement to improve efficiency
- Reconciliation of payroll accounts and reporting as required
- Partner and develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to assist in other aspects of HR and finance across the broader business
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will posses the following attributes; however, will not be exclusive to:
- Strong end to end payroll skills
- The ability to work both autonomously & collaboratively with others
- Effective time management with a forward thinking mindset
- Strong stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to positive influence
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills
- Keen desire & willingness to grow, with fantastic self motivation
