Our Client:

We are looking for a motivated payroll officer to join their team in Melbourne CBD, working under some fantastic leaders who want to see people develop. This will be a permanent role and will require someone to embrace new challenges and contribute to building effective partnerships that drive organizational success and growth.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager and working collaboratively amongst a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
- Accurately and timely processing of employee payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with policies and regulations
- Resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, benefits, taxes, and deductions
- Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices
- Support month-end and year-end payroll processes
- Contribute to ongoing payroll process improvements
About You:
- Proven ability to effectively manage payroll processing
- Demonstrate a capability to resolve issues promptly
- Possess a reliable and positive attitude
- High level time management skills
