An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Payroll Officer to join a well-established, and respected ASX listed organization, who are one of the leaders within their industry, both locally and globally. The ideal candidate for this role has had Payroll experience with some exposure to HR and enjoys working in a dynamic environment where innovation and collaboration thrive. The office is located in Leeton with flexibility for the successful candidate to work two days remotely and three days in-office.
The Responsibilities
- End to end payroll for 500+ employees
- Manage the full spectrum of employee life-cycle from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Balancing the priorities of multiple payrolls and the volume and urgency of transaction requests from employees and team leaders
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in payroll and HR processes, leveraging your critical thinking skills and attention to detail.
- Interpretation and actioning of transactional queries related to Individual Contracts, Awards, EBA and in-country legislations
- Collaborate closely with HR and finance teams to enhance operational efficiency and deliver exceptional customer services through on time delivery, accuracy, and efficient P&C and Payroll Services
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in Payroll, ideally within a large-scale organisation
- Minimum 1-2 years experience in HR
- Experience with SAP and Kronos desirable but not essential
- Experience with interpreting multiple industry awards
- Strong Excel and numeracy skills is very important
- Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking skills
