They are seeking a switched-on Payroll Manager to join their team in an autonomous payroll position with support and backup. 


The Role

Reporting to the Head of HR, you will be responsible for the following

• End to end payroll processing for approximately 300 employees on a fortnight basis 
• Process Australian and New Zealand payroll 
• Ensuring complete and accurate statutory reporting - STP, PAYG, Tax, Super, Workcover
• Relevant EBA and Award interpretation
• Processing redundancies, terminations and onboarding 
• Reporting and budgeting
• Provide high quality customer service through accurate information and support to stakeholder enquiries
• Reconciliations
• Take responsibility for the payroll system and function 

  
The successful applicant will have

• Prior experience within a similar autonomous position 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work in a team-based environment
• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise urgent work
• Analytical skills and an ability to think outside the box
• Willingness to take on projects
• Willingness to own the entire payroll function and system
