About the Role:
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working collaboratively among a close knit team, the role will include but not be limited to:
  
  • Manage and oversee the invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with customers to ensure timely payments.
  • Process the payroll for up to 500 employees.
  • Prepare and distribute customer statements and maintain strong customer relationships to support prompt payment and resolve queries.
  • Verify supplier invoices for appropriate documentation and approvals prior to payment.
  • Prepare and perform weekly payment runs in line with agreed payment terms.
  • Reconcile both accounts payable and receivable ledgers
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all financial transactions and records.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes, including reconciliations and reporting.
  • Support internal departments and liaise with external stakeholders as required.
  • Assist with auditing tasks and ensure compliance with internal controls.
  • Provide general finance support, including reporting, forecasting, and cost tracking.
  • Contribute to financial planning, costing, and forecasting activities.
  • Perform other ad hoc finance tasks and projects as directed by the Finance team.
  
About You:
To be considered as a successful applicant for this business, you will bring a strong grasp of accounting principles and proven expertise in both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as well as Payroll. You excel in managing financial transactions with precision, leveraging your proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel. With excellent communication skills, you collaborate effectively across teams, contributing to the organization's financial health and operational success. The ideal individual will have a reliable and positive attitude, a willingness to provide support in a team environment, and have a keen eye for detail. You will have strong time management skills and prior experience in a busy finance environment.
