About this Role
As the Nurse Unit Manager for the Theatre Unit, you will be instrumental in leading, managing, and coordinating the delivery of exceptional patient care alongside your nursing team. Your primary focus will be on ensuring that clinical practices adhere to the highest standards, while also cultivating a collaborative environment that prioritizes the well-being of both patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Overseeing the Theatre unit to optimize operational efficiency and ensure exceptional patient care outcomes.
- A minimum of two years in a management role, demonstrating your ability to lead and inspire teams effectively.
- Developing and overseeing the unit’s budget while analyzing performance metrics to drive improvements and ensure financial sustainability.
- Providing clear direction, mentorship, and resources to nursing personnel and support staff to enhance team performance.
Key Requirements
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Minimum of 3 years at the NUM level or in a similar role
- Strong leadership and management capabilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing healthcare environments.
