About the Role
Sharp and Carter are delighted to be partnering up with this amazing B2B Tech brand. We are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Marketing and Events Manager to join their dynamic marketing team in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the inspiring Head of Marketing, your primary objective is to develop and execute their entire marketing, events and communications strategy. You are a marketing generalist and are able to wear many hats with a focus on planning and executing high-impact events The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital and event marketing, with a proven track record of delivering successful campaigns that drive engagement and generate leads.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing plans that highlight event-based strategies to drive business growth.
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to develop and execute a comprehensive events strategy, including tradeshows, webinars, conferences, and virtual events.
- Oversee all aspects of event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, registration processes, and on-site execution.
- Create and leverage social media, email marketing, and content marketing to promote events and drive attendance.
- Implement strategies to maximize lead generation and capture at events.
- Track and analyze event performance metrics to measure success and ROI.
- Develop engaging content for event presentations, promotional materials, and follow-up communications.
Skills and Experience:
To be successful for this role you will posses the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in a marketing role with a strong focus on event management, preferably within a B2B, SaaS, or technology-focused company.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and get win/win outcomes with all stakeholders you deal with
- Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies and event-based tactics.
- Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and marketing automation.
- Experience in organizing and managing large-scale events, including tradeshows and webinars.
