About the role:

As the Manufacturing Manager, you'll play a pivotal role reporting directly to the Operations Director, overseeing end-to-end production processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading the site’s production operations to achieve peak efficiency, exceptional quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Optimising resource allocation while minimising waste to significantly boost productivity.
  • Collaborating with senior leaders across various departments, including Quality, Maintenance, NPD, and R&D, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensuring all products meet the highest food safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards, upholding the company’s commitment to quality and compliance.
This is a dynamic role where your leadership will directly influence the success of the manufacturing operations, making a meaningful impact on both the business and the broader team.

The ideal experience you'll bring includes:
  • 5+ years of leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong engineering acumen, preferably with a tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, quality standards, food safety, and WHS. 
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams. 
  • Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and process improvement. 
  • A self-starter with an action-oriented mindset, constantly challenging the status quo and driving opportunities for change.
  • Hands-on approach with a calm, solutions-focused mindset.
