The Role:
Highly commercial and operations focused, you will report to the Finance  Manager and will be responsible for the following:
  • Collaboration: Work closely with product management, production, procurement, and other departments to optimize cost management and operational efficiency and gather and document business requirements.
  • Cost Accounting: Maintain and analyze cost accounting records, including material, labour, and overhead costs.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory valuation, control, and reconciliation processes.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for manufacturing operations.
  • Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions and identify trends.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct variance analysis, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide financial insights to management.
  • Solution Development: Develop and propose solutions to address business challenges and improve processes.
  • Project Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of projects to ensure timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and visualizations to communicate findings and recommendations, including cost analysis, profitability reports, and performance metrics
Experience:
  • CA/CPA qualification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, cost accountant or manufacturing accountant, or similar.
  • Demonstrated experience within a costing environment with strong commercial acumen, analytical and business partnering skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, ERP systems, Tableau).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
