The Responsibilities
Attention to detail and strong technical and analytical skills are crucial for success in this role. You will report to the Finance Manager and take charge of task like (not limited too):
- Prepare and present management reports to guide decision-making processes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and planning activities.
- Analyze and report revenue streams and gross profit sources.
- Monitor and report on cash flow to ensure effective control.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial performance for each business unit, adhering to deadlines.
- Prepare key financial documents, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide valuable insights into financial performance.
- Work with cross-functional teams to establish and implement financial control measures.
- Support the month end close - reviewing transactional accounting and hand on involvement with bank/balance sheet reconciliations, adjustment and reporting
- CA/CPA qualified or working towards
- Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
- Proficient in SAP, implementation experience will be highly regarded
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
