A newly created opportunity exists for a Management Accountant who is seeking a chance to develop their skills and grow within a leading manufacturer. This role sits within a large and supportive Finance team as part of an established National business.
Responsibilities:
- Generate financial reports and forecasts to assist in strategic planning.
- Analyze budget variances and provide actionable insights.
- Perform variance analysis and trend analysis.
- Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standard and assist with internal and external audits.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in financial operations and implement best practices in accounting procedures.
- Business partnering across multiple functions including marketing and sales.
- Present financial findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Maintain and enhance financial management systems and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
- CA/CPA qualification.
- Commercial experience as a Financial accountant or Management accountant OR relevant chartered experience in either audit or business services.
- An understanding an exposure to the concepts of budget & forecast.
- A willingness to be challenged and a proactive approach.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with prior examples of stakeholder management experience.
