About the role:
As the Maintenance Manager, you will lead a skilled team responsible for maintaining equipment and ensuring operational efficiency in a safe and compliant manner. Your role involves overseeing preventative maintenance plans, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational support team to exceed site production targets through efficient equipment management.
- Develop, improve, and maintain preventative maintenance plans and prioritise resources effectively, identifying problems before they happen and putting appropriate plans in place to ensure this continues.
- Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts to maximise equipment reliability.
- Support capital projects and asset rationalization activities.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and GMP standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A Mechanical trade qualification preferred, or Mechanical engineering degree with proven track record of hands on mechanical equipment maintenance.
- Proven leadership experience with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
- Previous experience in manufacturing / industrial production environment, food preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A dedicated, supportive, and open minded leader who values the input of their team.
