My client is looking for a passionate payroll professional who is a system expert/administrator for Kronos to come on board, initially on a contract basis but with the potential to transition to a permanent arrangement after settling into the role. They are a well-known Australia brand who are a leader in their industry. You will be working in a large payroll team environment and being a system expert for their Kronos Administration function.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Kronos system functionality, system and device administration (Exporting timecards/approved shifts into Payroll system)
  • Daily operational support for the Kronos system e.g Public Holiday scheduling, leave delegations, maintaining leave approvers, starting and ending employment terms.
  • Creation, updating and testing of all payroll related data including pay rule creation, EA increases and salaried employee types
  • Ensuring all data migrations are performed in a timely manner to ensure accuracy of all employee records and payroll data.
  • Supporting the training on the use of the time and attendance system including supporting the design and documentation of technical specifications
  • Supporting the development and implementation of system configuration and improvements
  • Interfaces with business users and business analysts to provide support for configuration, setup and process refinement
  • Responsible for assistance with the Payroll audit compliance requirements, processes of Employee data load and changes in the Payroll application. 
The Ideal Candidate will have:
  • Strong payroll background with demonstrated experience in time and attendance management
  • Kronos System Administration experience
  • Team player with a flexible approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset to identify system needs and create workable system solutions
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work with conflicting pressure
