Reporting to the National Account Manager, this role is responsible for managing and growing key pharmacy accounts, including wholesalers and retailers, across Australia. You will drive sales performance, foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, and execute promotional activities to maximize profitability and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the brand portfolio across all categories.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in category teams, demand planning, marketing, and training.
- Negotiate and implement promotional campaigns within budget, ensuring a full promotional calendar with analytical reporting.
- Monitor stock coverage in collaboration with internal demand teams and wholesalers.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting, market data analysis (IRI and Reptos), and competitor insights.
- Manage trade spend, pricing, margins, and negotiations with category teams.
- Identify new business opportunities and secure excess stock clearance and reseller accounts.
- Maintain CRM updates, ensuring all customer and product information is current.
- Experience in pharmacy sales, ideally with wholesalers and retailers.
- Must have experience with Nexus
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting and pricing strategies.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong financial intellect with an analytical mindset.
- Highly motivated, results-driven, and able to multitask under pressure.
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Tertiary qualifications in business or finance (desirable).
