This role sits within a centralised FP&A team and supports a subteam of finance business partners to provide the wider business units with actionable financial insights, budgeting & forecasting and strategic direction. This role will suit an up and coming finance professional who has had some accounting exposure but is looking to step into their first analyst role. A high level of excel/Sql ability will be advantageous, as will an eager attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver commercial reporting and insights to inform business decisions across the organisation.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise reports and dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
- Analyse data from multiple sources, presenting clear insights to support decision-making.
- Partner with various business units to identify opportunities and assess effectiveness and strategy.
- Effective in preparing management accounts, forecasts, budgets and scenario modelling
- Prepare monthly accruals and journals to accurately reflect month result
- Perform variance analysis to identify deficits and optimise performance
- Maintain and utilise BI tools in conjunction with excel and SQL
- SQL / Advanced excel experience is crucial.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
- 2-4 years prior experience in a finance or accounting role
- Ability to interpret and process high volumes of data
- Working towards CA/CPA qualification
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- This role will pay up to $110k Base + Super
