They are seeking a Junior Accounts Payable Officer to join their team. This role is based in Macquarie Park and offers an excellent opportunity for someone immediately available with 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience to further develop their career.
The Role
The Junior Accounts Payable role will support a large team with essential tasks. The role involves managing vendor coding, data entry, and basic administrative duties, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. Once fully trained, the successful candidate will move into a broader Accounts Payable role, handling more complex vendor setups and payment processes.
Duties
As part of a large team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Setting up new suppliers and vendors in the system.
- Daily data entry of invoices and credit notes into the system.
- Performing basic administrative tasks to support the team.
- Creating vendor profiles in the Accounts Payable system.
- Collaborating with the Accounts Payable team to manage the setup and maintenance of vendor records.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Immediate availability is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and the ability to quickly learn new software.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.
