Position Overview:
Our Client are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join there dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records across multiple locations, ensuring that stock levels are optimized to meet customer demand while minimizing costs. You will play a key role in supporting our supply chain operations, driving improvements, and contributing to the overall success of our global logistics network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels across multiple warehouses and locations.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and integrity.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in inventory records, working closely with warehouse staff and management.
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to manage stock replenishment, ensuring timely and cost-effective ordering.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
  • Generate and present inventory reports to management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, operations, and customer service, to ensure seamless inventory management and order fulfillment.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management systems and software, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Controller, or similar role in a 3PL, logistics, or warehousing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management principles, practices, and systems.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on complex data.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
  • Knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes is a plus.
  • Certification in Inventory Management or Supply Chain Management is desirable.
