You'll be leading a team whilst working cross functionally with the Head of Design, Head of Product and senior leaders to create beautiful, functional and affordable furniture for Australia
Duties
- Be the link between the Design and Product Development teams understanding what is feasible from an engineering and manufacturing perspective.
- Taking ownership of the product development pipeline.
- Managing the process from sample to finished good.
- Sourcing components, materials, finishes and hardware.
- Lead a team of 2 Product Developers
- Monitoring costings and negotiations with suppliers
- International buying trips every 3-6 months
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience of people management
- Minimum 5 years experience in a Product Development Role
- 3D modelling and rendering is a must
- A degree in product or engineering would be beneficial
- Having a passion for furniture and homewares
- Previous experience working with overseas manufacturing
