As the Group Reporting Manager, you will play a key role through the half-year and year-end reporting processes with the wider group reporting team. You'll be the trusted advisor, providing technical accounting expertise and ensuring that financial information meets the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the external financial reporting for the group (year end and half year end), ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards.
- Provide expert technical accounting advice to business units on key transactions and reporting matters.
- liaise with external auditors and stakeholders to deliver accurate, timely information.
- Motivate and coach a large cross-functional team through complex reporting deadlines.
- Build strong relationships with business units and provide practical solutions to accounting and reporting challenges.
- Ensure the continuous improvement of processes and the quality of financial reporting outputs.
- CA/CPA accreditation with 6+ years relevant experience
- Large ASX listed company experience in financial reporting
- Big-4, mid-tier Chartered background preferred (desirable)
- High attention to detail
