The role 
Reporting directly into the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for leading and managing the financial planning and analysis function of the hospital, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. Your responsibilities will include but be limited to: 
  • Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis function of the hospital, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management and department heads to provide financial insights that drive informed decision-making.
  • Conduct comprehensive financial analysis, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies, maintaining the highest level of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
  • Mentor and develop a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Establish Power BI capability and develop Divisional and departmental reporting suite
  • Develop business intelligence reporting capability and harness available technology to improve data driven insights and decision making.
  • Collaborate with department heads and senior management to prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key performance indicators and financial trends.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to support the hospital's financial objectives and operational efficiencies.
The Ideal Candidate

CA/CPA qualified, you will have had previous experience working in an FP&A role in a large and reputable organisation. You will possess excellent communication skills and a passion for working in the health industry. With experience using business intelligence tools, you will have a strategic mindset and be able to present to senior stakeholders with confidence and great presentation skills.
