Spearheaded by a high-calibre Senior Leadership Team, our client is an ASX listed tech business with a clear mandate for growth.
Role Overview
Working closely with the SLT and the broader business, you will be the focal point for commercial management, including the development of business cases to assess initiatives and provision of insight to make great decisions.
Reporting into the CFO, the key deliverables will include but not be limited to the following:
- Business partnering support for the Senior Leadership Team including divisional General Managers
- Prepare, review and report on budgets and forecasts for the Group, including variance analysis and provision of insight
- Ensure annual budgets are prepared, including operating and capital expenditure budgets in conjunction with the CFO
- Ensure accurate and timely financial planning, reporting, analysis and cost / risk management
- Supporting the end of month processes through actively participating in a hands-on way in a range of accounting tasks, coordinating inputs from others and creating insightful financial reports with commentary
- Ensure operating costs are monitored and controlled to maximise profitability
- Ensure high standards of control and integrity over budgets, transactions, assets, and systems
- Ensure identification of business unit efficiency, effectiveness, profitability and contribution
To succeed, you will have an ability to balance your detail-driven personality with the capacity to understand the bigger picture.
Specific requirements include:
- CA/CPA qualified with a Big 4 or Mid-Tier upbringing
- Experience in preparing corporate financial plans, budget and forecasts
- Exceptional communicator with high-level analytical, influencing & organisational skills
- Ability to be both highly hands on and strategic
