An exciting opportunity within the not for profit industry currently exists in order to fill a key role in the Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Financial Data Analyst role will involve supporting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.

An exciting opportunity within the not for profit industry currently exists in order to fill a key role in the Finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Financial Data Analyst role will involve supporting in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
The Responsibilities:
Reporting directly into the FP&A Manager, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess current financial and non-financial data infrastructure, as well as planning and reporting processes, identifying dependencies and integration opportunities.
- Work closely with Finance team members and divisional stakeholders to design, configure, develop, and implement business modules in the new planning tool.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Provide training and troubleshooting for stakeholders as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for inquiries and issues related to the new planning system, offering prompt troubleshooting and resolution while clearly communicating outcomes.
- Work with the IT team to ensure data integrity and maintain system functionality.
- Support the change management process by communicating system updates and functionality changes to end-users.
- Develop and deliver training materials to promote successful system adoption.
- Foster a business partnership approach by promoting a culture of accountability, responsiveness, collaboration, engagement, and empowerment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- CPA/CA/CIMA or similarly qualified or working towards
- 3-6 Years Experience in Accounting or finance, with a strong systems track record (Implementations or Systems Accounting).
- Advanced Excel skills including VBA, Macro, Power Query.
- Intermediate SQL skills.
- Financial modeling using Excel.
- Experience with FP&A software and/or financial reporting tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
