My client is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to drive commercial insights, support critical decision-making, and play a key role in embedding new processes during the SAP S/4HANA implementation. This unique position combines business-as-usual analytical responsibilities with project-based process improvements, offering a blend of operational and strategic exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the SAP S/4HANA rollout through process design, testing, and implementation of new reporting tools and workflows.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational processes.
- Deliver robust financial analysis, including variance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting.
- Provide actionable insights to drive profitability and efficiency across the business.
- Develop and implement new commercial reporting frameworks aligned with business objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve financial reporting and data accuracy.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and business improvement.
- Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- CA/CPA qualified with a strong foundation in commercial finance.
- Proven experience in a Commercial Analyst or similar role, ideally within FMCG or large-scale organisations.
- Experience with ERP system implementations, particularly SAP S/4HANA, is highly desirable.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, with a track record of driving process improvement.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with large and complex data sets.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence non-finance stakeholders.
- Adaptable, resilient, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- Location: Attractive and convenient office location (NW Sydney) close to public transport, with on-site parking available.
- Work Flexibility: Typically 2 days in the office and the remainder working from home.
- Salary: $130,000 - $140,000 + super + bonus.
