Job Description:
As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our finance department during a period of increased workload. You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Preparing, examining, and analysing financial records, statements, and reports.
- Assisting with month-end close processes.
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Examining bank statements and reconciling them with general ledger entries
- Preparing and processing invoices, expense reports, and accounts payable transactions.
- Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Providing support in the preparation of financial audits.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather and analye financial data.
To excel in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA/CPA (desired but not essential)
- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or corporate setting.
