Reporting to the Head of Finance, the main responsibilities of this Financial Accountant role include:
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean up the current finance system to ensure smooth transition as we implement a new system.
- Conduct a comprehensive review of all balance sheets in preparation for audit, ensuring all supporting documentation is complete and accurate.
- Reconcile and balance Fixed Assets to maintain accurate records.
- Review Debtors and Creditors to ensure proper accounting and timely resolution.
- Assist with business improvements and align with the strategic goals of the Finance & Tech team.
- Support the Finance Manager with month-end activities, including preparation of monthly reports.
- Help with the reconciliation and business process improvement of payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Complete finance procedures in line with company policies and standards.
- Take on ad hoc tasks as needed to support the finance function.
