Our client is a well-established industry leader undertaking a significant new infrastructure project that requires additional financial expertise. With continued expansion, they are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team in Western Sydney.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a critical role in financial reporting, compliance, and stakeholder engagement, whilst working closely with external auditors, key business partners, and potential for collaboration with their international teams. This 12 month FTC offers exposure to senior leadership and the chance to provide valuable insights that impact strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the month-end financial reporting process including consolidated profit and loss, balance sheets and cash flow reports
- Support month-end and year-end ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Perform balance sheet and inter-company reconciliations
- Maintain and manage the fixed asset register
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial planning processes
- CA/CPA qualified (or working towards)
- Over 5 years of experience as a Financial Accountant
- Background in industrial, manufacturing, or similar sectors
- Familiar with fixed asset management processes
- Strong track record of engaging with stakeholders, including senior executives
- Available to begin the role immediately or within a short notice period
