Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow analyses.
- Managing month-end and year-end processes while ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Provide analysis and commentary on financial performance, including budget vs. actual results.
- Analysing financial data to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to manage budgets and forecast business performance.
- Ensuring compliance with tax regulations, including GST, FBT, and BAS submissions.
- Conducting detailed inventory analysis and solving operational and financial challenges through strategic insights.
Skills and Experience:
- A degree in Accounting or equivalent.
- CA or CPA qualifications (essential).
- 3-5 years' experience in a financial accounting role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking ability to tackle complex issues effectively.
- Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
