A fantastic position working for a large retail business who are looking for a commercially astute finance professional. Reporting directly into the Head of Finance, your repsoinbilities will include but not be limited to:
- Ensure an accurate and timely month end close through accurate processing of month end entries across the business, including all general ledger and bank reconciliations.
- Providing detailed analytical reports, models, scenarios and financial support to key stakeholders including identifying and analysing monthly variances to budget and forecast.
- Assisting with the preparation of month end commentary packs for senior executives.
- Tax compliance including GST and FBT
- Involvement in the monthly reforecast and annual budget process.
- Assist in identifying areas of process and efficiency improvement within the Finance team.
- Providing accurate and reliable data through use of our ERP (AP21), BI tool (Jedox) and other reporting tools.
You will be a CA or CPA qualified accountant, or studying towards qualification, with ideally 2-5 years’ industry experience or seeking your first move out of Big 4 or Mid-Tier. Your interpersonal and communication skills are first class, allowing you to gain the confidence of and develop strong professional relationships with those above and below you.
