Our client is a well-established business with years of expertise in their field, Australia wide. They have continued to experience significant growth, national expansions and positive success. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Finance Officer to join their team, on a permanent, full time basis.
Position Description
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:
- Manage a debtors ledger of national accounts
- Daily reconciliation of the accounts
- Follow up on outstanding debt
- Providing high level of customer support to varying internal and external stakeholders
- Allocation and receipting of payments
- Daily cashflow analysis
- Assist in preparation of FBT returns
- Contribute to process improvements and efficiency
- Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
- Support the finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Reporting duties and ad hoc tasks as required
Ideal Candidate
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable/Finance Officer role, as well as the following attributes:
- High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
- Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
- High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
