The Responsibilities
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be responsible for:
- The month end close process
- Implement and maintain accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
- Analyze current operational processes and recommend and implement potential improvements
- Prepare consolidated annual financial statements
- Designing financial reports for group and local management requirements
- Performing various analysis including profit, monthly revenue, gross margin, volume and mix analysis
- Making recommendations for profit improvement and cost reductions
- Provide accounting guidance and advise finance team
- Communication interface between local finance and Austrian finance team
- Liaise with external service providers such as tax advisers
- Coordination point for the annual audit
- Assisting with the preparation of the Annual Budget and forecasts, liaising with all departments to integrate plans
The Successful application will have:
- Extensive experience in a comparable Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Manager position
- CA/CPA qualified or in progress towards qualification
- Experience in business partnering and managing key stakeholders
