A high profile Queensland organisation operating in the agronomy and biosecurity sector are seeking an experienced Finance Manager / Finance & Governance Lead to drive best-practice financial management and business operations. 
  
As part of the Finance Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, provide expert advice on finance, budgeting, and asset management, and develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Further responsibilities include:

• Lead and manage the Finance & Governance team to ensure financial and administrative excellence.
• Provide expert advice on finance, governance, and asset management, ensuring compliance with policies and best practices.
• Develop and implement efficient, cost-effective policies and financial strategies.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality finance and governance services.
• Oversee sensitive financial matters, executive correspondence, and briefing documents.
• Stay ahead of emerging financial trends and technologies to drive continuous improvement.

You will possess extensive experience in finance, governance, and business operations. Further you will be highly proficient in SAP and Excel (to advanced levels) with proven analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills. Experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is highly advantageous.
