Due to organic company growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Financial Accountant and/or an experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a hands on, full-function finance role that will involve overseeing all financial operations within the organization working with the CFO. You will work closely with the owner and CFO, ensuring smooth financial management and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial and Management Reporting
- preparation and ownership of month end process
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Provision of key analysis & insights by collaborating with the CFO to monitor cash flow, identify financial trends, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Drive system and process improvements
- Tax / Compliance
- Offer strategic financial advice to drive business growth and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent qualification is a plus).
- Proven experience as a Senior Financial Accountant or Finance Manager (small business)
- Big4 / mid tier first mover (business services)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work closely with senior leadership.
- High proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
