About the role 
An exciting role with a global industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their team. This Finance Business Partner (Sales) position will help provide insightful analysis into key performance trends that exist in order to drive the positive financial direction of the company. Initially this will be a long-term contractual assignment, however there is the genuine view for extension and/or permanency.

The responsibilities
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for:
  • Drive the preparation of key management reporting deliverables for Corporate Finance and Australia Executives
  • Analyse business performance trends and drivers to understand variances between actual, budget and forecast.
  • Work with various parts of the business to provide the required information to support decision making and strategic insight.
  • Ensure analysis and insights are fit for purpose, by continuously improving the understanding of our stakeholders needs and challenges and our communication of financial information and insights
  • Play a key role in the budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis processes and contribute to making these processes value-adding, effective and efficient for all stakeholders
  • Provide timely and accurate information to stakeholders internal and external to the finance team and respond to ad-hoc information and analysis requests.
  • Support Corporate Finance to deliver continuous simplification, process improvements and automation to management reporting and associated systems and processes.
  • Enhance communication of financial performance to non-financial stakeholders and drive efficiencies and automation of reporting
  • Actively participate in our corporate team by helping to facilitate finance education and information sharing.
  • Be involved in projects to improve processes or improve operational performance
  • Leverage skills and experience across the team and act as support for team members during peak periods and leave management
The successful applicant will have 
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, enjoy collaboration and have had extensive experience within a large & complex working environment. A Big-4 / Mid-Tier chartered background will also be considered advantageous.
