The Role:
Reporting through to the CFO and working alongside the Property Development Director to provide timely and accurate commercial support, informing and enabling best-for-business decision making.  You will be responsible for the following:
  • Key Finance Partner to Property Development Director to execute on agreed strategy;
  • Understand and communicate best-practice accounting principles and processes for the property development business;
  • Propose strategies to solve business financial challenges;
  • Proactively engage with other business units to ensure monthly calendar actions complete;
  • Responsible for the Property development budget;
  • Understand Property acquisition;
  • Understand and responsible for Debt Funding;
  • Responsible for Property development cash flows and strategies;
  • Project Forecasting and reporting reporting;
  • Ability to identify, propose and implement business improvement initiatives;
  • Provision of strategy around debt funding for the portfolio;
  • Ability to build relationships with key external stakeholders.
The Candidate:
As the suitable candidate you will be CA/CPA qualified with experience in either Property Development/Property or Construction which will be critical for the success of this role.  As a self starter you will be 'hands on', collaborate and partner with key stakeholders internally in the business and externally.  You will also be involved in the strategy and the view of moving forward with a continuous improvement mindset.
