The Role
As a key player within a dynamic and supportive team, you will report directly to the Financial Controller. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of crucial functions, including:
- Engaging in a highly commercial role, collaborating across functions with both financial and non-financial stakeholders, both internally and externally.
- Acting as a vital support function and contributor to upcoming mergers and acquisitions.
- Conducting financial modeling, including business reviews and developing business cases, while extracting insights and presenting actionable recommendations that emphasize growth and sustainability.
- Performing detailed reporting and analysis to understand performance shifts, offering insightful commentary, and identifying gaps.
- Conducting SWOT analyses to assess risks and opportunities.
- Providing financial modeling support for projects and M&A activities.
- Developing plans, budgets, and forecasts in close collaboration with the sales and operational teams.
We seek an experienced Finance Analyst or Business Partner with the following attributes:
- A confident and charismatic professional who excels both independently and as part of a team.
- A determined negotiator with the ability to influence and engage finance and non-finance stakeholders, even in challenging situations.
- Background experience in a large, complex organization or a high-volume environment - manufacturing/FMCG experience will be highly regarded!
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with a natural curiosity to ask questions.
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with a firm grasp of financial data.
