About the role:
Reporting into the Engineering Site Manager, you will oversee daily operations in a fast-paced industrial manufacturing environment, ensuring efficiency in production, warehousing, and dispatch. You’ll lead and mentor a team, implement process improvements, and drive safety and quality standards. This hands-on role requires a strong leader who can optimise workflows, manage inventory, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee Factory Operations – Manage daily manufacturing, warehousing, and dispatch activities to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
- Team Leadership & Development – Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment and improving performance.
- Process Improvement – Identify and implement efficiency strategies to streamline workflows and optimize production output.
- Safety & Compliance – Ensure adherence to workplace safety, quality control, and regulatory requirements.
- Inventory & Logistics Management – Maintain accurate stock control, coordinate inbound/outbound goods, and manage supplier relationships.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience within an industrial manufacturing or supply stream environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse management software and databases.
- Forklift licenses (LF & LO) favorable.
- Demonstrated leadership experience or capability.
