This company, a well-established manufacturer, is looking for an experienced Factory Manager to lead one of three business units at their facilities in South East Melbourne. Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet demand
- Monitor and improve production processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
- Ensure products meet quality standards and ISO 9001 certification requirements
- Oversee inventory management and equipment maintenance
- Manage and mentor staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
- Control operational budgets and ensure cost-effective resource allocation
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing performance
- Experience in a continuous, industrial manufacturing environment
- Proven leadership experience in an operational management role
- Strong knowledge of production processes and manufacturing best practices
- Ability to drive process improvements and implement strategic initiatives
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
