This is a critical role to ensure longevity for short and long term site requirements.
- Ensure the plant facilities and utilities maintains the highest level of availability possible to achieve business targets.
- Repairs to facilities and raising minor capital projects to implement site improvements.
- Provide technical support to tradespeople and contractors, supervising trades personnel, ensuring safe working practices.
- Participate in continuous improvements and problem-solving initiatives.
- Ensure immediate reaction to breakdowns and urgent work.
- Repairs to assets and driving outcomes.
The ideal candidate for this position will have experience in the following:
- Proven track record in facilities management or equivalent industry experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering or trade qualified.
- Solid understanding of refrigeration, particular with ammonia systems, compressed air and steam generation systems.
- Experience in a fast moving, high volume food manufacturing environment.
- Passionately curious engineer, keen on learning and development, driven and can-do attitude.
