About The Role:
  • Lead the collaboration with Sales Teams to execute the S&OP cycle each month and to escalate key actions to the relevant stakeholders
  • Lead the collaboration with Category Management and Product Development as a key support to ensure Product Life Cycle and Product Status accuracy is maintained for all SKU’s to facilitate procurement and Customer deliveries
  • Lead the collaboration with Sales and Category Management on new product launches, range review, etc. to ensure successful release into market and to minimize write-off exposure/clearance and to communicate implications to procurement teams
  • Ongoing projection of inventory levels on a rolling 12-month basis to support the business in achieving inventory targets and support cashflow requirements
  • In conjunction with the Planning Manager, development of the demand/stock plan and its validation including multiple levels of aggregation for a variety of time horizons as part of the demand planning function
  • Reconcile open purchase orders in consideration of MRP recommendations, promo events and supplier shutdowns
  • Respond to requests for stock information and updates as required
About You:
  • Degree in a business or analytical discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FMCG
  • Strong interpersonal skills to facilitate decision-making across the Sales, Customer Service, Operations, IT and Finance organisations
  • Effective communication with overseas suppliers
  • Proactively highlight and address supply chain delays and/or risks and issues that could affect the business particularly in relation to demand trends and customer service impacts
  • Work collaboratively within the Inventory team to improve and communicate accurate and timely supplier updates and risks to achievement of monthly forecasts.
