What You’ll Do

As a Data Engineer, you'll be a key player in the company's data modernisation journey. Your role will involve:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining optimal data pipelines across global regions.
  • Building and maintaining Master Data Management systems and advanced analytics platforms.
  • Collaborating with Data Scientists and Analysts to develop and deploy ML models (e.g. predictions, classifications).
  • Driving automation and scalability by improving existing infrastructure and processes.
  • Supporting real-time and batch data ingestion to empower enterprise and exception reporting.
  • Enforcing data governance, security models, and DevOps best practices across the team.
You’ll work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including the Data & Analytics Team, Global IT, and Enterprise Applications, helping ensure data is accurate, secure, and accessible for decision-making at every level of the organisation.
  
Your Experience
We're looking for someone with a strong mix of technical expertise and business awareness. Ideally, you’ll bring:

Essential
  • Advanced experience with SQL, DAX, Python, Scala or R.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain ETL pipelines at scale.
  • Familiarity with dimensional data modelling and self-service BI tools.
  • Strong DevOps knowledge and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Excellent communicator who can bridge the gap between data and business.
Desirable
  • Experience with cloud-based data ecosystems, ideally Azure (e.g. Azure Databricks, Azure Power Platform, Azure Analysis Services).
  • Knowledge of Power BI and the DAX language.
  • Exposure to data ingestion, integration tools, and master data management platforms.
  • Experience working in Agile teams with robust release/version control processes.
