This is a telephone based sales and administration role focusing heavily within the Independent retail channel nationally. This role will focus on contacting inbound sales leads and engaging with long standing customers. This is great opportunity to build a substantial career within the business. Being a self-starter by nature and a ability to foster rapport and relationships will be key to this role.
 
Duties
  • Ensure smooth and correct sales administration
  • Prospect and qualify new customers through inbound sales activities
  • Maintain CRM system
  • Develop deal proposals and assist in securing new business
  • Qualify and close inbound sales leads
  • Meet and exceed core sales metrics
  • Provide data and feedback to sales and cross functional teams
Skills and Experience
  • A strong track record of sales success within Food across Independent retail seen as desirable 
  • A committed and results driven attitude to work to a high ethical and professional standard
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Passion for premium artisan food desirable
