The Organisation
A successful national company at the forefront of their industry, is seeking a motivated and driven Credit Collections Consultant to join their close knit finance team. You will be responsible for proactively partnering with customers to deliver tailored solutions that help customers remain up to date with payments.  The role collaborates closely with Finance, Sales and Service teams to remove payment blockers and deliver exceptional customer experiences. 

Position Description 
Reporting directly into the Credit Team Lead your responsibilities will include:
  • Driving brand advocacy and loyalty by delivering exceptional customer experiences, despite the sensitive nature of the interactions you complete.
  • Using strong influencing and communication skills to deliver on financial targets to reduce overdue debt and keep customers’ payments current.
  • Challenging the status quo with a continuous improvement mindset to empower customers by removing payment blockers and advocating for solutions.
  • Fostering strong relationships with Sales and other internal stakeholders.
  • Effectively managing operational risk, ensuring they are proactively identified and controlled.
  • Working with various parts of the business to drive customer value, reduce process waste and improve process flow.
  • Delivering highly accessible self-service and human service options to customers and ensuring clear and inclusive communication.

Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Credit Collections role. The successful applicant will also have the following attributes:
  • Strong customer focus and relationships skills.
  • Experience and an understanding of credit and collections, both the customer and financial side.
  • Comfortable with data and financial reporting.
  • Strong stakeholder focus.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on streamlining processes to support positive customer and employee experiences.
  • Experience with best-in-class service software such as Zendesk 
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and proactive
Additional Information
  • Supportive close knit finance team environment 
  • Ongoing position for a minimum 3 months
  • Must work from office for minimum 2-4 weeks during training
  • After this, they must work in office minimum 2 days a week
  • Wednesday being a mandatory day and the other day is by choice
  • Working hours 8:50am-5pm Monday to Friday
