Our client is a global market leading manufacturer based in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Celebrating nearly half a century in the manufacturing industry, our client is looking for a technically strong Cost Accountant to join their team during a period of sustained growth. 
  
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your main responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 

- Maintenance of product standard costs for all business units
- Management and reporting of Group Inventory Valuation
- Review and prepare daily manufacturing recoveries
- Analyse and produce monthly report on product price variance to all business units
- Analyse Manufacturing KPI’s
- Preparation and processing of End of month journals 
- Review of Actual costs vs Standard costing, with supporting commentary 
- Co-ordinate monthly stocktakes and cycle counts.
  
To be successful in your application, you will be CA/CPA Qualified with 2-3 years experience in complex manufacturing/retail environments. You will possess exceptional communication skills, as your ability to interact and engage with stakeholders across the business will be crucial to your success.
