The Position
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Controller to manage and oversee all financial aspects of our business during this contract period. The successful candidate will be responsible for financial planning, analysis, and reporting, as well as ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Oversee all accounting operations, including billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and revenue recognition.
- Develop and implement internal financial controls and processes.
- Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes in collaboration with department heads.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
- Provide detailed financial analysis and reporting to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate and manage external audits.
- Assist in financial planning and strategy formulation.
Skills and Experience
Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) designation is preferred. Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role is essential, along with a strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail, proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, strong communication and leadership abilities, and the capability to work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
