Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly and monthly sales reports, including analysis of variance to budget / forecasts and reconciliation to General Ledger
- Co-ordinate the development of the annual sales forecast for the business, through engagement with the Commercial Manager and operational teams to understand key business drivers, capacity constraints and other influences to forecast projections
- Prepare presentation material for the Commercial Manager to support meetings with key customers such as scan performance and store compliance
- Provide detailed sales analysis on SKU performance including NPD launches, portfolio profitability, optimal mix strategy and tail management by State, Customer, Category and Channel as well as interrogate historical trends
- Monitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to commercial activities, such as sales volume, pricing trends and architecture, market share, and customer acquisition costs.
- Analyse the profitability of products and customers to identify opportunities for margin enhancement and cost optimization.
- Develop and maintain PowerBi reporting suite, such that information is more readily obtainable to key stakeholders
- Critically assess the accuracy of the Bills of Material (BOMs) against actual production data weekly and monthly ensuring variances are identified and updated as per internal control processes
