About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and dynamic Business Analyst to join a Technology Projects team for a 12-month Fixed term contract. In this role, you will assess and analyse business processes, document business and technical requirements for IT-enabled projects, and engage with stakeholders to drive process improvements and technological change across the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture end-to-end business requirements for systems and processes using our Project Management framework.
- Develop 'as-is' and 'to-be' process diagrams and identify risks, issues, and benefits of existing and proposed solutions.
- Collect current state metrics, highlight optimization opportunities, and create project concept and business case documentation.
- Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure project outcomes align with business requirements and expectations.
- Maintain documentation throughout the design and development process until the solution is in production.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Professional Services, or Financial Services as a BA or Technical Analyst.
- Proficient in process mapping tools (e.g., flowcharting software, UML).
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint).
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity, and a thirst for knowledge.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Capable of managing priorities across multiple projects effectively.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Business Analyst qualifications (BABOK or similar).
- Experience with project management platforms such as Jira.
