Position Description
With attitude, team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking an experienced and motivated Bookkeeper to join their organisation on a part time or full time basis (to suit your needs). You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

  • Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management
  • Bank reconciliations and processing daily bank transactions
  • Processing customer payments and accurately allocating them to the relevant accounts
  • Generating supplier invoices and processing invoices
  • Completing fortnightly payroll for approximately 120 employees
  • Lodge and payment of BAS, PAYG, Super and Payroll Tax
  • Processing new starters, terminations, payroll adjustments, and ensuring accurate superannuation and tax payments
  • Interpreting various EBAs and awards
  • Completing various financial reporting duties
  • Maintaining a high level of customer service when responding to employee, supplier, and customer queries
  • Developing and fostering positive relationships with internal and external customers
  • Providing administrative support and assisting the finance team as required

Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual to work autonomously in this role, reporting into the directors. You will be responsible for handling Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable , Payroll , and completing BAS duties. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in end-to-end payroll and a broad accounting background. You will be an energetic and passionate professional who enjoys learning new skills and taking ownership of your tasks. Excellent verbal and written communication, the ability to multitask, and a keen eye for detail are essential. A positive, can-do attitude and strong interpersonal skills will also be key to success in this role.
