Position Description
With team fit and culture a priority, the business is seeking a dynamic and motivated Billings Manager to join their team. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Leading, mentoring and supporting a team of 3 across the Billing department
- Establish and maintain strong relationships across the business alongside external stakeholders
- Management of the day to day operations within the team to ensure efficient functioning of the billings department
- Optimise existing processes to achieve strategic goals whilst implement new strategies to increase efficiencies
- Strategically analyse billing performance and identify areas for improvements
- Manage dispute resolution processes for billing inquiries
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and various requirements across the business
- Facilitate training and up-skilling within the team
- End of month duties including reporting, billings and cash flow management
Ideal Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a Team Leadership capacity within a medium sized organisation, as well as the following attributes:
- Strong decision making and stakeholder relationship management skills
- First class communication, from both a verbal and written perspective
- High level interpersonal and time management skills, with a passionate attitude
- Excellent leadership skills with initiative and a positive ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proven capacity to both develop and execute change management strategy
- Attention to detail, initiative and strong negotiation skills
- Prior experience in the health industry is highly regarded
